Ancestry.com (paid version) is wonderful. But it is so fast, easy, and automatic, that it encourages sloppy work, at least for me
How Many Gasaway Clans?

Are all the Gassaways on Clif Gazaway's SC WoldConnect related to each other?
No, they are not all related.
I have attempted to keep members of various Gasway clans somewhat separated, however the WorldConnect Index merges and displays all Gazaways together

The Pedigree, Descendancy, and Ahnentafel display do keep the clans separated. Only the Index merges them.
Many lines which are shown separately will eventually merge as evidence is found to show them belonging to the same clan.
Worldconnect Display
Clif Gazaway's SC WoldConnect website has several types of standard displays of South Carolina Gasaway genealogy information.
Those displays include:

Displays all individuals included on that specific WoldConnect site. Displays aphabeticaly regardless pfline or clan.
Pedigree
Displays only one line from target tp earliest known ancestor.
Descendancy
Displays descendants (perhaps multole branches) descending from the target ancestor.
Ahnentafel

Ahnentafel
Definition: A numbering system used to identify each individual in a family tree. From the German ahnen meaning ancestor, and tafel, table or list.
Example: A starting person is given the number 1, the individual's father is twice that individual's number (2), and the individual's mother is twice that individual's number plus one (3). So, to find the father of any person, double that number. To find the mother, double the number and add one.
